Weight Loss Forever

Weight loss is a journey, not a destination.

It is not about the end goal but about the process of getting there. Once you crack this code, you will empower yourself to maintain your weight throughout your life. I will share with you the recipe of success, I discovered during my weight loss journey from obese 93 kgs to fit 78kgs in a matter of 12 months.

It is important to know that weight loss does not happen overnight and any quick fix method will only lead to you regaining the weight again. Small yet sure steps with little progress every day is the key.

The steps involved in a successful weight loss program are:

  1. A strong commitment to losing weight is the first step. If your reasons, desire, and commitment to lose weight are not strong enough, you will never stick to the everyday actions required to be taken to conquer this

  2. Set a goal. Please find out what your current weight is, and write down your goal weight as well. How many pounds/Kilos in how many months? In my case, I decided to lose 15kgs in 12 months' time to reach my ideal weight of 78 kgs from 93 kgs.

  3. Track your weight every day. There is immense power in this step. What you start tracking magically starts improving. This will help you see how much progress you made or how far you have left to go. I started mounting on the weighing machine every day after freshening up in the morning. Every small improvement over the previous day gives you immense joy and any small increase will keep you mindful of eating right throughout the day

  4. Eating right is the key to any successful weight loss story. Eating right plays 70% of the role in your success, balance 30% depends on your physical activity. You don't have to deprive yourself of food you like. Moderation is the name of the game. I will share with you my daily eating routine in a subsequent piece. I have written about it in detail in my book ”Freeze That Age

  5. Create a workout plan for yourself with exercises that agree with your body and abilities. I started with simple walking for 40 minutes and lost 8 kg with a moderation of food and walking in 8 months. The beauty is this loss was permanent. Later on, I started running. Could only run 100 meters on the first day but now I am a marathoner
